Jake Shields Wanted To Kick Rousimar Palhares In The Balls Following WSOF 22

Rousimar Palhares’ dirty tactics have been well known for some time. Following a punch after the bell to Josh Koscheck two years ago in the UFC was his first incident and then on Saturday night at WSOF 22 against Jake Shield is just another incident that has had Palhares in hot water.
In case you live under a rock or have not watched the promotion’s latest event, Palhares keep cranking on his fight-ending kimura after Shields tapped a plethora of times. Also, Shields revealed that Palhares was also using eye gouges during the fight.
Following the event, Jake Shields was not happy about it and wanted to kick him down “there.”
“Yeah man, I want to fight the guy in the streets to be honest, because I want to gouge his eyes back, I want to bite him, I want to kick him in the balls,” said Shields. “I actually want to fight the guy,” said Shields. “If I see him tonight I’m coming after him. I don’t like the guy. They’ve got rules and he’s not following the rules. I don’t know. I mean I’ll fight him again in a cage, but maybe I’ll stoop to his level if I have a s***ty ref.”

WWE Hall Of Famer Confirms That WWE Is Producing An Owen Hart Documentary

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross has confirmed that he was interviewed by WWE for the upcoming Owen Hart documentary during a recent blog post.
He then revealed that he found out that Dusty Rhodes had died during the taping of the interview for the Hart DVD.
“As I was sitting in an office in Asheville, NC at Eblen Charities being interviewed by WWE for the upcoming Owen Hart DVD and discussing what May 23, 1999 meant to me my cell phone buzzed incessantly. It wouldn’t stop and interrupted our recording.”
“I needed to to take a break and collect my thoughts on a question that I knew was coming but that I still dreaded answering. I excused myself to the men’s room and eventually got around to checking my messages and to my horror I found out that my friend of over 30 years Dusty Rhodes had died at age 69 in Orlando, Florida.”

Update On One Ex-WWE Diva Visiting WWE Headquarters On Monday Afternoon

As noted earlier on the site, former WWE Diva Chyna visited WWE headquarters on Monday afternoon.

She’s currently seeking funding for her documentary "The Reconstruction of Chyna,” by trying to raise money through Kickstarter. Her goal is to reach $10,000 by July 8th.

For those who are wondering if this was a planned meeting between her and WWE? No. WWE did not have any kind of meeting with her due to her continuing to claim that Triple H hit her during their relationship back in the late 1990’s. Triple H issued a brief statement last week denying those claims again.

Ex-WWE Developmental Talent To Appear On Big Brother

CBS’ reality series "Big Brother" is scheduled to premiere on June 24th and on Tuesday morning, the network issued a press release revealing the cast of the show. One name stood out in that press release was former WWE developmental talent, Austin Matelson. He was the talent that wrote WWE a letter accusing former NXT coach, Bill Demott of abuse on him and other talents, which ultimately led to his release from the promotion.

Possible Feud For Dean Ambrose Going Into The WWE Battleground PPV Event

The Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. has updated their advertisements for the WWE live event on July 17th, which is two nights before the Battleground PPV.
Seth Rollins defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns in the main event while John Cena face Kevin Owens in a street fight.
Also, Dean Ambrose takes on King Barrett in what could be a new feud that WWE is going with and then the usual Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus match up.
WWE will usually have the Superstars who are in a current feud work against each other at live events to gain better chemistry in the ring so when they face off at a PPV event then their matches are as good as they can be.

CM Punk On His UFC Debut In 2016: “I’m Super OK With It”

Former WWE Superstar and now UFC fighter, CM Punk, appeared on The Jon Anik and Kenny Florian Podcast on Monday and talked about his UFC debut, pro wrestling and more.
Down below is an excerpt of the interview in which he talks about making his UFC debut and if it would be in 2016:
“I’m super OK with it if my accountant is. [laughs] I know Duke has told me, and I think he’s been public with it, that he would like a full 12 months before he signed off on me fighting. I’ve had zero talks with Dana (White) or Lorenzo (Fertitta) or Joe Silva – anybody – about an opponent, about a date. I’m thankful for that because there’s zero pressure on that, too. I think a lot of people are antsy. They’re saying on Twitter, ‘Ah, you’re never going to fight.’ This was just announced in what? November? December? I’ve been training full-time for like six months. As bad as I have the itch to get in there, like I said, I want to be as prepared as I possibly can be. I wouldn’t be upset if it got pushed into 2016.”
Punk would go on to say about his UFC debut:
“I’m also looking at the big picture; this isn’t a one-and-done thing for me. I’m not looking to fight just once, win, lose or draw. This is something I’m training for, and I feel like it would be a super waste of time if I was just training for one fight or anything like that, if I wasn’t just making a career out of it. Getting beat up in the gym every day wouldn’t be worth it in the big picture. I’m not saying I’m going to make a title run or anything like that, but I’m also – I’m looking to maximize my time here. If I wind up fighting in 2016, I’m not going to be upset about it.”

Daniel Bryan On The Passing Of Dusty Rhodes

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan spoke with App.com to promote his upcoming appearance at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ where he’ll be doing a meet and greet with fans on June 28th.
During the interview, he spoke about WWE Hall of Fame Dusty Rhodes passing away last Thursday at the age of 69.
"For the most part — at least from me knowing him — he always saw the good in people."
"I have fond memories of Dusty, but I also have fond memories of being in the car with Cody while he was talking to his dad. You could hear the way they would banter back and forth and you can see how that vibrancy that Dusty had was passed on to Cody," Bryan said. "And I don't know Dustin as well as I know Cody, but you can see it in Dustin too."
